Social Security Direct Deposit Information:

According to www.socialsecurity.gov, if you receive Social Security or Supplemental Security Income benefits you must begin to receive your payments electronically, by March 1, 2013. If you don't, the U.S. Department of the Treasury may send your benefits via the Direct Express® card program to avoid an interruption in payment. There are limitations to the Direct Express cards. We would like to make this transition as easy as possible for you. We have friendly customer service staff that are trained and happy to help walk you through the direct deposit requirements. When enrolling in direct deposit, the depositor will require the following information: Financial institution's routing number, Account type (checking or savings), and Account number. Please feel free to come in or call anyone of our locations and get the customer care you deserve! You can also enroll in direct deposit by calling 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778), by mailing a Social Security Direct Deposit Enrollment Form, or by going online. |
